Saturday Night

Hello—I’m back on this lovely Saturday night. Today was my first day of starting my conversion course with the Open University. I attempted to ‘log on’ to the network last night and couldn’t get my password to work. I have to watch the ‘caps lock’ key carefully. Now, I’m locked out of the system for rushing and typing fast. I don’t know why I type so fast—and do things quick. My keeping this diary helps me to identify visually errors in writing and clumsiness in typing. Funny, this may explain why I wasn’t a good typist in the Navy. I can type fast but have a difficult time with doing repetitive assignments. Recently, I heard from an old friend of mine—she is a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corp. Alicia if you are reading this, I love you woman—thanks for finding me on the net. At this time, I am unable to return to the States [especially by dream place, beautiful San Diego as of yet].

Update on book
As for that book I was reading, it’s terrible. I don’t know what it is about me, but lately when I picked out books, I assumed that the content will be something interesting or enjoyable to read. This book was awful. The first three stories I read centred on hatred of women, violence toward women, cruelty of women, and men being corrupted by women [as a result condemn to hell]. So, I have to return this book back to the library because I assumed that it would be funny and filled with great stories. I’m sure the next person that check it out will love it, I don’t. I didn’t read all of the stories and have read these short narrations:
(a) The Decamerone: Eighth Day, Third Story [this story was okay]
(b) Belfagor; Story of the Devil Who Took a Wife [this story is strange]
(c) Madonna Zilia [this story is terrible]
(d) Rosso Mapelo [I didn’t like the violence in this story nor the beating of the donkey]
(e) An Idea of Hermes Torranza [I won’t even comment]

So, I will attempt to look for another book soon. I am not a fan of violence toward women or anybody nor animals [although I love meat not pork] and some of those stories were wild. I just returned from Saturday Mass service and now I must depart—husband needs to be fed.
